PPSTA Joins Forces with DepEd for “Kaisa sa Brigada Eskwela” Initiative
The Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA) proudly partnered with the Department of Education (DepEd) in supporting the nationwide “Kaisa sa Brigada Eskwela” campaign, a collaborative effort to prepare public schools for the new academic year. This annual initiative brings together educators, parents, local governments, and community volunteers to ensure that schools are ready to welcome students in clean, safe, and conducive learning environments.
Strengthening the Spirit of Bayanihan in Education
As part of its longstanding commitment to public school teachers and the educational community, PPSTA embraced the opportunity to actively participate in the “Kaisa sa Brigada Eskwela” program. With a focus on promoting the bayanihan spirit, PPSTA helped mobilize volunteers and resources to assist in the repair, maintenance, and beautification of public schools across the country.
“Brigada Eskwela is a powerful testament to the shared responsibility we all have in supporting our schools,” said Mr. Bong Arante, PPSTA’s Head, Marketing Department. “By working hand-in-hand with DepEd and local communities, we can ensure that every student and teacher returns to a well-prepared school that fosters learning and growth.”
