SARILING SIKAP LOAN PROGRAM

The Sariling Sikap Loan Program started in 1987 under the leadership of Mr. Jaime Laya which was appointed by the then Secretary of Education Lourdes Quisumbing.  SSL Program is the offshoot program from the Mutual Financial Assistance Service or MFAS.  Starting from P2,500, the highest loanable amount is now P300,000.

The SSL provides financial assistance to members with no collateral and low interest rate (7.5%).  The loan will be released within the day if filed personally and payments are made easy through salary deduction.  Members must be qualified to avail of the loan program.  Latest Original Payslip for two months will be required for those availing higher loans such as the P300,000.

Teachers may avail of the Instant Member-Instant Loan Program of PPSTA.  They can avail of a maximum amount of P100,000.  They must comply with the regular requirements of the SSL program and must pay 2  months advance premium contribution.
