Chief Accountant

(National Capital Region)

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversees the entire Accounting Department
  • Manages the financial activities and ensures its financial health
  • Produces accurate financial statements and accounting reports
  • Develops and implements financial policies and procedures
  • Reports to the Board of Trustees the financial matters of the Association
  • Ensures that all financial transactions comply with the latest accounting standards and statutory legislation
  • Other responsibilities provided in the by-laws

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
  • CPA Certification is required
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
  • Preferably with experience working as Assistant Manager/ Manager specializing in Finance/ Cost Accounting or equivalent in insurance sector or mutual benefit association
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City
  • Full-Time position available.

Requirements:

  • Must have a good communication skills

  • Customer oriented and has the ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Has the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Education

  • A graduate of any four (4) year Business Course; Banking and Finance; Accounting.

Work Experience

  • With at least 5 years of managerial experience
