EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL (EI)

Education International (EI) is the world’s largest global federation of teacher unions and organizations, representing over 32 million educators in more than 170 countries. EI advocates for the rights and dignity of educators and supports the fundamental belief that quality education is a universal human right. By championing academic freedom, equity, and social justice, EI works to build robust educational systems that are inclusive, accessible, and capable of empowering individuals to reach their full potential. The Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA), through its affiliation with Education International, aligns itself with a global movement dedicated to uplifting the teaching profession and ensuring that education remains a priority in addressing the world’s most pressing challenges. This affiliation enables PPSTA to engage with an international network of educators, policymakers, and thought leaders, allowing it to bring global perspectives to local issues.
